Over the past few months, we’ve completely redesigned our Academy programme to create a clearer development pathway, more structured coaching and even greater value for our skating families.
Whether you’re a current Academy member, a previous Academy skater or currently skating at Skate Star Gold or Platinum, we’d love to welcome you to the next stage of your skating journey.

Meet Your Academy Lead Coach
We’re delighted that the Academy will be led by Bryony Corrigan, a Level 2 Figure Skating Coach with over six years of coaching experience.
Bryony has competed nationally and internationally from Novice through to Senior Ladies before performing professionally at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and onboard Royal Caribbean cruise ships.
Alongside her professional skating career, she holds a degree in Sports Coaching and brings a wealth of competitive, professional and coaching experience to every Academy session.

Important: The Blades Ice Skating Academy replaces all of our previous Academy programmes.
Our current Saturday Elite Academy will hold its final session on Saturday 15th August 2026, with the new Academy commencing from Tuesday 1st September 2026.

Ozone Elite Figure Skating Academy – Group 1
Sharpen your skills. Elevate your performance. Join the elite.
Group 1 of the Ozone Elite Figure Skating Academy is designed for skaters who are working towards achieving their National Skills Levels 2, 3, and 4. This focused program supports dedicated skaters in building the technical foundations and athletic strength needed to excel in their figure skating journey.

Saturdays, 08:25 – 09:30
Off-Ice Gym Session:
Saturdays, 07:55 – 08:25
Cost:
£150.00 every 4 weeks (rolling basis)
The academy is led by our experienced coaching team, bringing years of professional skating and teaching expertise to every session. With a strong background in figure skating and athlete development, our coaches provide skaters with a unique opportunity to train under the guidance of knowledgeable and dedicated professionals.

Summer Single Session Passes Are Here!
We know that many of our skaters want to continue their development throughout the summer, but with family holidays and other commitments, committing to a full course isn’t always possible.
That’s why, during the summer holidays, we’re introducing Single Session Passes!
Rather than booking an entire course, skaters can simply choose the sessions that work best for them and attend on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Single Session Pass Details:
Available: Saturday 25th July – Saturday 15th August
Price: £37.50 per skater, per session

Ozone Elite Figure Skating Academy – Group 2

Group 2 of the Ozone Elite Figure Skating Academy is designed for skaters who are working towards achieving their Skate Star levels Bronze – Platinum and skaters who are currently working towards National skills level 1. This focused program supports dedicated skaters in building the technical foundations and athletic strength needed to excel in their figure skating journey.
